Michelle Obama the first lady of America

Though people tend to ignore, Michelle Obama, the first lady of America, is an equally excellent lecturer as her husband. Her speeches, very much alike Obama’s speeches, tend to make people feel empathy in their own experiences. Two distinctive characteristics feature her speeches. Her normal speaking speed, usually at a slower pace than other white person, offers her audiences a better chance to catch up with what she has in mind. What’s more, she likes to draw on real, ordinary, daily-life examples, and these examples impress people, cuz they feel that these examples are very much alike their own experiences, or that these examples are not so surreal that they have nothing to do with themselves.

Next, I’m gonna imitate Michelle Obama to deliver a speech on the unemployment issue in America.

Dear citizens, Fellow Americans, Ladies and Gentleman,

I understand that our nation is undergoing a tough period. I know that many of you are laid off and experiencing a difficult time worrying about where your food supply would be the next day, but I also want you keep in mind that Barrack and I are always with you. What’s bothering you is also bothering us. Trust me, when our fellow compatriots suffer, our hearts ache as well.

During this worldwide economic sluggishness, the government, undoubtedly, should take steps to make our citizens suffer as less as possible. These steps, however, function best with the citizen’s cooperation. Sometimes, when sufferings are unavoidable, people got to sacrifice their individual interesting to keep our society develop on the right track. Wherever I go in America, I see people living a hard though, but promising life.

In Minnesota, some corporations are cutting down the allowances for the executives, to keep the workers from being laid off. And in Detroit, workers in automobile industries are still doing whatever they can to manufacture the best products; it’s not just automobiles that they are producing, but it is the pride of the United States of America.

That, is the true American spirit with which we are gonna revitalize our nation.
