【Warm-up】

Do exercises and review

1. 师生间简单问答后呈现资源库中的【同步测试】Countries 词汇互动练习,结合拍照小游戏的形式,引导学生复习China, Canada, the UK, the USA, Japan, Australia 6个国家单词及其标志性建筑。

T: Hello, boys and girls. This is the last lesson of Unit 1. Last time we learned several new words about countries. So, at the beginning of this lesson, you will do exercises to review the words.

2. 呈现资源库中的【同步测试】Where Is Sb From 互动练习,让学生通过拼图小游戏的形式,复习上节课所学的句型Where is sb. from? 及其答语。

T: Last time we also learned something about where sb. is from. Now you are going to do exercises to review the sentence pattern.

设计意图:结合词汇互动练习和句型互动练习,在活跃课堂气氛的同时,复习旧知,为本课时检测目标语言以及目标语言的实际运用奠定基础。

【Presentation】

Look and answer

呈现资源库中的【活动设计】Unit 1 Welcome back to school! 主情景图活动练习,让学生结合本单元的主情景图,回顾本单元的主要内容,并回答相关问题。

T: Now I’d like you to look back to the scene picture of this unit and have a try to answer the questions.

设计意图:结合单元情景图,从宏观角度回顾本单元的主要内容,并在问答中巩固所学的知识,为新课的引入做好准备。

Role-play

接着课件呈现主情景图中的对话,让学生朗读并进行角色扮演。

T: Here’re the conversations in the scene picture. Read first, and then you can role-play in pairs or in groups of three.

设计意图:通过角色扮演,内化语言。

Look and think

接着引导学生仔细观察Let’s check中的四幅图片,思考并尝试回答课件上的问题,为接下来的听力活动做好准备。

T: Now please look at the four pictures in the first part of Let’s talk. How many people are there in each picture? Who are they? What are they doing?

设计意图:锻炼学生的观察能力,为听力任务做好准备。

Listen and number

之后播放录音,让学生听音,完成排序的任务。

T: Now please listen to the conversations and number the pictures from one to four.

设计意图:提高学生的听力并检测学生的掌握程度。

Look and match

接着让学生观察Let’s check第二部分的图片,并完成图词连线任务。

T: Look at the second part of “Let’s check”. What can you see in the picture? A teacher? Any

students? Now you can match the picture with the words on both sides of the picture.

设计意图:通过图词匹配活动,在检测学生的认知程度的同时,强化对单词的掌握。

Look and read

呈现Story time中的对话,让学生朗读,感知故事内容。

T: Now it’s time for story time. Something funny happens between Zip and Zoom. First, please read the conversation and get to know what the story is.

设计意图:逐段理解对话内容,整体感知故事内容。

Look and listen

播放故事录音(教师也可以自行播放动画),让学生听音、跟读,感知语音。

T: It’s really a funny story, isn’t it? Who is the teacher? Zip or Zoom? Now please look at the pictures and listen to the story.

设计意图:结合语音,再次感知故事内容。

Role-play

接着让学生两人一组进行角色对话。教师随堂纠正、指导。

T: It’s time for you to role-play this funny story. Who wants to be Zip? Who wants to be Zoom?

设计意图:通过角色对话,提高学生的语言代入感,从而达到运用语言的有效目的。

Play a train game

呈现课件,说明活动要求,让学生五人一组,进行“开火车”的句型操练游戏。教师计时,传得最快最准确的一组获胜。

T: Now let’s play the train game. Five of you are in a group. The first student says “Hi, I’m from … Where are you from?”, and then the second one answers and asks the third one, and so on. The quicker, the better.

设计意图:结合轻松的游戏,综合输出语言。

Test

进行随堂检测。

T: Now it’s time for you to take a test.

设计意图:检测学生对本课时所学内容的掌握程度。

最后呈现资源库中的【同步测试】Unit 1 Welcome back to school 重点知识归纳练习,通过思维导图的形式,总结本单元的重点词汇、句型、语音等主要内容。
