Getting out of the traditional music hall, the Xi'an Symphony Orchestra(交响乐团) got over many difficulties to hold a live concert in the open air.

The concert appeared at the top of Mount Hua in Northwest China's Shaanxi Province. Besides(除了) Western instruments, there were also different kinds of traditional Chinese instruments during the concert. A Huayin Laoqiang performance, a local style of opera, opened the concert after a performance of the song For the World by young Chinese violinist Tang Sushan.

The concert ended with My Motherland, a song written for the Chinese movie Battle on Shangganling Mountain. Some of the audience(观众) said that listening to music in the beautiful natural environment was far more exciting than in an indoor hall.

According to the symphony orchestra, the group has earned more than 50 million views, with a lot of viewers giving positive feedback(反馈)．

“It is fantastic. The preparation(准备) for the concert is so difficult. It is difficult to send so many instruments to the top of the mountain, but they did it，” an audience said.

“While preparing for the concert, workers from the orchestra surveyed the performance site many times and the 225 musicians held their rehearsals(排练) outdoors，” Huang said.

“The epidemic(流行病) has developed the innovation(创新) of music and this innovation continues. The Mount Hua Concert is of great importance. It proves once again that music can cross all borders, even beyond language problems，” Tang Muhai said.
