LESSON PLAN Date 2014.3.2 Day KBJC Unit 1 Suday Course Type of class Hello Class1 一、Feedback of last class 二、Main tasks and aims of this class Sentences: Hello, I’m ? Goodbye What’s your name ? Words and phrases: look, listen, point, open/close your books, star, pencil, Simon, Stella, Suzzy , Maskman, Marie, Monty, match, repeat, ball, circle, tick ,cross. 三、Materials of this class Cards, magnets, hammer, name tag 四、Lesson plan Period 1: 一,Warm up: 1.Greetings. Hello, I’m _Chinese name__. (Teacher point at her name tag) What’s your name ? I have an English name . This is my English name. I’m ________. What’s your English name ? (If the student doesn’t have an English name ,pick a new for him/her) 2.Listen and do actions -Stand up, sit down, line up, make a circle . Teacher says students do actions 二,Presentation Present star/ Mr Star(father)/ Mrs Star(mother)/ Stella(sister) / Simon(brother) /Suzy(sister)/ Maskman / Marie / Monty (use family tree, introduce them in order) 1. Listen Teacher presents pictures for kids.Say new words three times. Students just listen. “Look at this picture. Who is this?”
2. Listen and repeat
Repeat after the teacher, check them one by one. (Explain family members relationship) Give stars. 三.Practise1
1.Listen and point A. Teacher says words, students point, we can do a race B. Chinese whisper - ,students line up ,teacher whispers one word, students whispers one to another, the last student get the right card. 3. Guess it
A. Show students part of a card, students guess who is this
B. Pick some cards put them in order, read to the students, then turn over the cards, change the order. Say a word, let the students find the right card.
C. Teacher holds the cards, ask the students “Is this Mr Star?” Students guess yes or no.
4. Ask and answer
A. Teacher holds one card, student hold one.
Teacher says “Hello, I’m Mr.Star. What’s your name ? Student answers “I’m Monty.”
Then pick one student be the teacher ask other kids.
Give stars.
Practise 2 Bookwork
1.Open your pupils’ book to page 2,please.Look at the picture. Where is the star ? Here it is.” “
2.Activity 1- Listen and point
Listen to the CD. Play the CD twice.
First time listen. Second time read after the CD. 3. Activity 2- Listen point and repeat
“Show me your finger, please. Where is Mr Star, point Mr Star ?”play the CD 4.Activity book page1, Match. Give stars. Period 2 1. Warm up “Let play a game! Pilots and the Shark” Listen and get the card. Teacher put cards in different places in the classroom. Divide students into teams. 1VS1.Teacher says a word, students get the right card can get a chance to play the game. The winner can get a star. Give stars. 2. Presentation A. Present ball ,tick ,cross. Give the students the ball. Ask them pass the ball ,ask and answer questions “Hello, What’s your name ? I’m _________.” B. Guess – Who is this ? Students do Mr Star’s pose ,kids guess. One, two ,three, turn around, say the word. 3.Bookwork A. Open your activity book to page 2 please. Listen and circle the tick or cross. Play the CD twice. After the students finished play it again check the answers. B. Look and complete. Make sure students can say the right names first. C. Homework –Join the dots. Give Stars. 5. Say Goodbye Goodbye Mr Star. Go through the cards. Then goodbye students. See you next week. Line up ,leave the classroom.
