e.g. 1. She is a very beautiful girl. They are new students. He has a happy family.

; 1. 句中介绍三个或以上的人或物。E.g. Who is the most outgoing, Tom , Bob or Peter?

2. 句中有提示的介词短语：of +同类人或物（of all “在所有之中”\ of the three “在那三个之中”of all the girls \ of all the movies 等)

in +地点范围 (in the class “在那个班上” \ in Pengshan \in China 等)

VI. 最高级的一种特殊用法：

表示 ：“第一\第二\第三…”用: the +序数词+最高级 e.g . Changjiang is the third longest river in the world. “长江是世界上第三长河.” Yellow River is the second longest river in China. “黄河是中国第二长河.” The city is the fourth biggest in Japan. “那个城市是日本第四大城.”
