(1) agree 动词,意为“同意,赞成”,常用于以下结构:

The wine is made from grain. 这酒是用谷物酿造的。

wonder 意为“想知道”,相当于want to know. 其主要用法如下:

(1) 后接疑问句引导的宾语从句,从句应该使用陈述语序。

I wonder who she is. 我想知道她是谁。

(2) 后接if/whether引导的宾语从句,表示委婉地请求或疑问。

I wonder if you mind giving me a hand. 不知你能否帮我一下。 (3) 后接动词不定式结构。

I wonder to hear him singing in the next room. 我惊讶地听到他正在隔壁唱歌。

(4) 后接“疑问词+动词不定式”结构。

I’m just wondering how to do it. 我正想知道怎么做。 (5) Wonder 意为“感到惊讶时”,可与at/about连用。

5. find out 意为“查明,找出”,多指经过一番努力之后找到事情的真想。

seem 作连系动词,意为“似乎,好像”,后常接形容词做表语,可以和seem to be 和It seems/seemed that…相互转化。

Fill …with… 结构的被动形式为be filled with… 意为“装满,充满……”,其主语通常为物,相当于be full of.

another 用作形容词, 意为“又一;再一”,泛指三者或三者以上(剩余)事物中的一个。其后可接“单数名词”“of +复数名词”或“基数词(大于1)+复数名词”。

We need another computer. 我们还需要一台电脑。 Is this another of your photos? 这是你的另一张照片吗? We’ve still got another 40 miles to go. 我们还要再走40英里。

注意:another +基数词(大于1)+复数名词=基数词(大于1)+more

I want to eat another two apples.= I want to eat two more apples. 我想再吃两个苹果。

8. each 用作代词,意为“各个,每个”,指两者或两者以上人或物中的每一个,可与of 连用构成固定短语each of, 意为“……中的每一个”,强调个体概念。

Each of the houses was slightly different. 每座房子都稍有不同。 9.be allowed to do sth. 意为“被允许做某事”

teenagers should be allowed to make their own decisions. 青少年应该被允许自己做决定。

Allow sb. to do sth. 意为“允许某人做某事”

Our teacher allowed us to go out for a walk. 老师允许我们出去散散步。

Allow doing sth. 意为“允许做某事” He allows smoking here. 他允许在这里抽烟。

10. enough 修饰形容词/副词时,要放在被修饰的词后面。 He runs quickly enough. 他跑得足够快了。 It is warm enough in the room. 屋子里够暖和的了。

(1) 形容词/副词+enough to do sth 意为“足够……可以做某事”。

可与“so…that +肯定句”进行同义句转换。

The boy is old enough to go to school.= The boy is so old that he can go to school. 这个男孩足够大去上学了。

(2) not+形容词/副词+enough to do sth. 意为“不足够….不能做某

事”。可与“too…to do sth”进行同义句互换。

The boy is not old enough to look after himself.=The boy is too young to look after himself. 这个男孩不够大不能照顾自己。
