1.a little bit ―有点儿,稍微‖(=a little).,修饰形容词或副词.

(1)a bit +形容词或副词 ―有点儿…‖,相当于a little或a little bit. 如:He felt a bit/little angry.

(2)a bit of+不可数名词 ―有点儿…‖相当于 a little. 如:There is a bit of/a little milk in the bottle.

2.seem的用法

(1) seem+形容词 Everything seems easy.一切似乎很容易。

(2) seem+名词 He seemed an honest man.他看上去像是个老实人。

(3) seem+不定式 The maths problem seems to be very difficult to work out.这道数学题似乎很难解决。

(4) seem+like+n./ V-ing,意思是"看起来像……"

It seems like years since I saw you last time.自从我上次见到你以后,好像是过了好几年。

(5) It seems/seemed +that从句 It seems that he is a student.看来他是个学生。

3. keep doing sth与keep on doing sth

A. 相同点:两者均可后接动名词(不接不定式)。

B:区别:

(1) 表示反复发生的动作(动作略有间隔)时,两者可互换。如:

They kept (on) talking about it. 他们一直在谈论此事。

(2)表示连续不断的动作(动作没有间隔)时, 常只用 keep doing sth。如:

He kept standing during the meeting. 开会时他一直站着。

(3)表示将一直在做的事继续做下去,通常只用 keep on doing。如:

He kept on working after dark. 天黑了他还继续干。

Don’t give up; keep on trying. 别灰心,继续努力。

注:这样的 keep on doing可与 go on doing 换用。如:

Although they were singing, the boy kept [went] on doing their homework
