本单元中心任务：第三单元是对前两个单元所学知识的综合运用。第一单元是通过星座对 人的性格进行描述，从而了解别人。第二单元通过描述颜色对人的心情 的影响让学生学会表达个性和心情。而第三单元的主题是青少年问题。 学生学习表达自己的忧虑、烦恼甚至是个性方面的问题以及产生的原因， 并且找到解决问题的方法，同时能够给别人提出建议。学生可以充分利 用第一和第二单元中所学到的知识找出解决问题的方法。在这一点上， 第三单元较前两个单元来说更具有要求综合运用所学知识的特点。 本单元的整体教学任务是：通过对生活中遇到的问题的描述表达自己的 烦恼、忧愁，掌握给别人提供建议的方法；学习get的不同意义和用法； 使用以WH开头的单词和to-不定式，如：Simon does not know what to do.;了解不同的句型(陈述句、疑问句、祈使句、感叹句);进一步学 习句子成分，要求能划分一句话的成分，学习宾语补足语；最后写一封 信给笔友告诉他你遇到的问题和解决的方法。
