Love and Learning

Most students are often told by their teachers and parents that love is forbidden in high schools, yet there are still some students who fall in love. In their opinion, love can be regarded as a drive in their studies, and they study even harder with the help of their boyfriends or girlfriends.

However, most teachers and parents maintain that love affairs will negatively

influence high school students. They can no longer concentrate on their studies once they fall in love with others. Additionally, high school students are not mature enough. They don’t understand the true sense of love.

On saving

As we know, when senior students graduate from school, most of their reference books as well as textbooks, which are still in good condition are thrown away. What a great waste it is!

I suggest that we should recycle these books. On the one hand, recycling them can save a lot of natural resources, which can be reused to make textbooks. On the other hand, senior students may have made plenty of useful notes on the pages. They are very helpful to the following users.

At present, the whole nation is calling on use to build an energy-saving society. I think it’s certainly meaningful to our long-term interests. In fact, in Australia and

some other countries, recycling textbooks is popular, which gives us a good example.

The earth day

April 22th is the Earth Day. Our school organized a lot of activities to improve our environment.

In the morning some of us planted trees. Some picked up rubbish in the

neighborhood or parks. Most of us also gave money to organizations that help to save forests and endangered animals. Several groups of the students went to the streets, telling the passers-by how seriously our earth is damaged. Many rain forests are disappearing. A lot of wild animals have been killed.

By doing all these we would like everybody to know that we have only one earth and we should protect it. Saving the earth is saving ourselves.

A picnic in the countryside

The sports meeting which was to take place this Saturday has to be put off
