As we all know, whether a nation has a bright future depending on whether it has a promising next generation. And as a knowledge preacher,a teacher plays a vital role in the children’s quality development. So we can see,a teacher,especially an English teacher becomes a indispensable part in building an international coutry.

As far as I am concerned, to be a good English you must have three qualities.

Firstly, you must be good at English yourself. I think this is a basic element of being a competent English teacher. Imagining,if you don't understand some questions clearly,how can you make your students know them? Besides that,mastering the knowledge on the reference book is not enough.

A good English is a master of everything.He can lead his students to a colourful world on condition that he knows much knowledge about English-seaking coutries ducation,culture,history,policy,geography,and so on. A learned teacher can create an active atmosphere of learning English and make study more efficient.

Secondly,a capable English teacher should be a keen observer. As an famous saying goes,a good tercher is like a gardener. On one hand,you are watering your sweeties diligently; on the other hand ,you must pay attention to know what they really need. If you teach them too much regardless how much they can absorb,your effort will be in vain. You should learn how to be one of them. You need let them know you are their study partner instead of their superior.

Last but not least, a nice teacher should has good personality. As a future teacher,you must know the work is not as easy as you

imagine.During your teaching work,you will face many unexpecting difficulties. At that time,you must be strong enough to overcome them.Remember,praising more,scolding less. In some students’heart ,the teacher is like a god,so you must be a model of moral and study,show a correct value about the world,be optimistic to life.

Therefore,to be a good English teacher is a very complicated task. But I think, if we all try our best in our teaching work,our students will be the happiest generation in the world.
