由because 、since、as、for 等连词引导的状语从句叫 状语从句。这四个连词语气由强至弱依次为 ,because意为―因为‖,表示直接原因,一般放在主句后,回答why的提问,since意为―因为、既然‖,侧重主句,表示显然的或已知的理由,as意为―由于、鉴于‖,主从句并重,主句说明结果,从句说明原因。For意为―因为、由于‖,表示附加或推断的理由,从句常放在主句后,用逗号隔开。 五、当堂检测
