Unit 1 I want a hot dog, please.

一、教学目标

1、知识目标：能指读运用单词look, cola, dollar, cent, enjoy,careful. 能掌握运用句型What do you want ? I want a hot dog, please. How much is it ? It’s thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents.进行对话交流。

2、能力目标：能用英语来表达如何点餐及询问价钱。

3、情感目标：激发学生的学习热情，了解中西方的饮食文化异同，并进行文明礼仪教育。

二、教学重、难点

1、重点：句型Can I help you ? I want a hot dog , please.

How much is it ? It’s thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents.

2、难点：掌握和熟练运用所学语言知识在快餐店点餐。

三、课前准备

单词卡片、教学光盘、教学课件、带有标价的食物图片和饮料图片。

学生收集或自制的带有标价的食物图片和饮料图片。

3. T:Let’s go to a restaurant and buy something to eat and drink.(课件出示点菜单)

T: This is the ABC Restaurant Menu. Look at the price.学习单词dollar,cent 板书：1 dollar=100 cents

T: I want a hot dog. How much is it? 引导学生说出： It’s…dollards 同样方式多操练几项。

播放第二遍录音，学生带着问题听录音并寻找答案。

录音播放完毕后，允许学生相互讨论问题的答案，然后再请个别学生进行口头表述，教师进行订正。

Make a fast food restaurant

把讲台布置成快餐店的柜台，并请程度较好的学生来扮演顾客，教师扮演服务员，进行一个简单的表演。最后鼓励学生进行以小组为单位的情景短剧的表演。(设计意图:通过Make a fast food restaurant情景练习活动促使学生在实践中运用所学英语，增强对所学英语的体验，培养学生的合作精神。）A: Can I help you?

用今天所学的语言知识询问家人或朋友想吃些什么、喝些什么，问问买这些食物和饮料要花多少钱，写成一篇小对话。

教学反思：在课文教学中，为学生设置一定的任务，让他们带着任务去听，避免它们听的盲目，也迫使学生认真的听，有效的听。听的时候朗读是为了避免只听不说，让听力训练语口语训练能同步进行。听说结合才能共同达到语言的交际能力。
