Ⅰ. Analysis of teaching material(教材分析)
本单元的话题是休闲娱乐(Entertainment),本节课所选三篇课文内容主要涉 及到电影的分类、网上订票和一词多义造成的笑话。Passage 5较1, 6两篇难度 大。本节采用任务型阅读,结合几种阅读策略的使用,提升学生的阅读水平。 Ⅱ. Teaching goal(教学目标)
1. Knowledge Targets(知识目标)
(1)学习三篇文章:Passages 1, 5, 6。
(2)了解电影的分类、网上买票的好处和一词多义。
2. Ability Targets(能力目标)
(1)学习使用细读、略读、跳读、上下文猜测词义和查找主题句策略进行阅读。
(2)增强对文章总体框架与细节的理解能力,提高阅读的综合能力。
3. Affective Targets (情感目标)
(1)在小组合作互动中,增强团体合作精神和分享意识。
(2)通过合作式、探究式学习方式,激发阅读兴趣,收获快乐和自信。 Ⅲ.Teaching Important and Difficult Points(教学重难点)
几种阅读策略的熟练掌握既是重点,也是难点。

T: Nice to meet you here. You look nice and smart, to be frank, I like you. Do you like me? (OK, good.) I think we’ll have a good time, a good reading time together. You can all me Mr. Gong. Are you ready? Let’s begin. First, look at the goals
together.

scan 细读,查读: 指的是根据题目要求在文章中快速扫描出问题的细节答案。 T: Passage 1 is about the kinds of movies, but it doesn’t mention so many kinds. Before you read it, let’s learn the Reading strategy—scan.
Remember your questions, try to find the answers carefully and quickly.
This is what "scan" means.

Ss: Scan the passage for 2 minutes, then discuss the following questions in
groups. 细读文章2分钟,然后小组讨论下面问题。
How many kinds of movies does the writer mention in the story? _______.
What are they? ___________________________________________________
T: Now let’s check the answer. Ask some groups to show their answers.
(Five. They are thrillers, science fictions, action movies, comedies and
romance, that is love story.)
幻灯片7, 8, 9:呈现细读过程,在提供的许多分类中用不同颜色标出本课中提 到的分类,并用英语替换,留下课后作业,把其余的电影分类翻译成英语并写 下来。

T: A New Way to Buy Gifts.

When you go to buy gifts for your friends, you often find it's not easy. You
often can't buy the right gift in one shop, you have to buy it from shop to
shop, sometimes you have no place to park your car. Sometimes you might be "lucky" to get a bill(罚单)from the police!
Here "lucky" means “unlucky”.
This passage tells us a new way to buy gifts. What's the new way? Read this
passage, using the following reading strategy.

指的是跳过文章的具体细节不看,在短时间内迅速掌握文章的主旨和大意。

根据上下文(语境)猜测生词、短语的意思。

【Teaching Reflection】教学反思
这堂课基本做到了把课堂让给学生,让学生在自主、合作、探究的气氛中愉快度过,既顺利完成教学任务,又促进其情感教育。教学中融入了素质教育,且使学生在趣味中学得了知识,这也是目前提倡的教育教学理念。
我感到多媒体教学用于英语阅读教学有很多好处:首先,课堂的导入是十分重要的,好的导入可以激发学生的学习兴趣,直观、生动的图片、动画使得学生更容易进入学习状态,把学生从枯燥的课堂解放,有利于师生的互动, 能更好地实现教师的教学意图。其次,多媒体课的容量大,电子白板的使用,使得教师核对答案更容易。因此,教师可以把原来花在板书的时间用于指导学生,或设计一些多样的题型。在此过程中,不同的阅读策略和任务设置激发了学生的学习兴趣和参与活动的积极性。
教学内容设计要符合本班学生的实际情况,难度适中,尽量满足不同类型和不同层次学生的要求。在任务的设置中充分考虑了学生是否能够完成。本堂课的细节理解部分难度合适,大多数学生都能顺利完成,在对阅读材料的拓展方面做得很到位,对阅读策略的训练很全面,幻灯片做得很美观得体,因时间关系和阅读材料的特点,今后会在阅读课里设计上表格、判断对错等形式,让阅读课的形式更丰满,让学生的阅读视野更宽广,训练更到位。
