Fanny Blanker-Koen grew up in an active family in the Netherlands and enjoyed playing sports. In 1935, when Koen was only 17, she set a national record in the 800-metre race. This talented girl then took part in the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Unluckily, the two following Olympics were cancelled because of World WarⅡ, but she continued to train and compete. You laugh when you are happy about something or with someone. If you are one of those

who hardly laughs, you are missing out on a lot. In fact, you are not doing your health any good. Scientists have proved that laughter is the “best” medicine to all kinds of diseases.

Scientific facts have shown that laughter helps people breathe easier and it is good for the heart and other vital organs(生命器官).
