1. —Have you seen the movie Wolf Warriors II?

—Yes. This is educational film and it has become one of most popular films in the world.

A. a; / B. a; the C. an; the D. /; the 【答案】C

如an hour; an honest boy; a useful book。

2. —More and more foreigners are becoming interested in Beijing Opera. —That’s true. It’s an important part of Chinese . A. culture B. invention C. custom D. influence 【答案】A

3. —Nick, I lost my pen and I couldn’t find anywhere. —There are many pens in that box. Just take . A. it; it B. it; one C. one; it D. one; one 【答案】B

4. I could control my feelings at the moment. The song brought back so many childhood memories.

A. hardly B. really C. clearly D. nearly 【答案】A

A. hardly几乎不;B. really真正地;C. clearly清晰地;D. nearly几乎。 5. — I swim here?

—I’m sorry. Children swim alone here. It’s very dangerous. A. Must; can’t B. May; must C. Can; mustn’t D. Can’t; can 【答案】C

Can/May I??

6. — convenient it is to live in China! —Yes, we’ve got WeChat, shared bikes, Alipay, etc. A. What a B. What C. How a D. How 【答案】D

7. You are talented young adults are full of hope for the future. A. which B. when C. who D. where 【答案】C

Is he the man who/that wants to see you?

He is the man whom/ that I saw yesterday. (whom/that在从句中作宾语)

They rushed over to help the man whose car had broken down.

Beijing is the place where (in which) I was born.

8. People now in many big cities have to early to avoid the heavy traffic in the morning.

A. set out B. put out C. take out D. give out 【答案】A

A. warm B. warmer C. warmest D. the warmest 【答案】D

11. Don’t stay inside such a sunny morning. Let’s go out to enjoy the gentle wind and the sweet flowers. A. on B. in C. from D. at 【答案】A

12. Nowadays, farmers leave their hometown to search for work in the cities. A. million of B. two millions C. millions of D. two millions of 【答案】C

13. —I’ve made little progress in math during this term. —Don’t worry. .

A. It’s never too old to learn活到老学到老;B. Rome was not built in a day罗马不是一天建成的; 伟业非一日之功;C. Well begun is half done好的开端是成功的一半;D. The early bird catches the worm笨鸟先飞。 B。 14. —Dad, can you tell me ? I miss her very much. —Next month, dear.

A. when my mum will come back B. when will my mum come back C. how my mum goes to work D. where will my mum go 【答案】A

15. —Would you please come to my birthday party with me tonight? — . I suppose we will have a wonderful night!

No way没门;B. Have a good time玩的开心;C. 根据“I suppose we will have a wonderful night!”

Two二;C. Three 三;D.

A. thinking about思考;B. caring about关心;C. worrying about担心;D. talking about谈论。根据语境?ways to make them sorry,应该是想出让他们道歉的方法,故答案选A。

How much had I hurt him when I shouted at him earlier that day?

Four years ago, Chinese skater Wu Dajing introduced himself to the skating world by winning a silver medal at the Sochi Olympic Winter Games. At this year’s Pyeong Chang Olympics, Wu not only returned, but also made history.

On Feb 22th, 2018, Wu won the gold medal in the men’s short-track 500-meter race. He set a new world record with a

time of 39.584 seconds. He also became the first Chinese man to take home an Olympic short-track gold medal. BBC said Wu’s win was “flawless”, because he was much faster than all of the other skaters.

“I didn’t give them a chance and I kept my speed from the start,” he told the reporter after the match.

But China’s short-track teams didn’t do well in general at the Games. Chinese skaters in the women’s 500 meters, 3000-meter relay and men’s 1500 meters all failed to take home the gold. Wu was China’s biggest hope, which put a lot of pressure on him. But he proved himself with his great performance.

Wu is now known as a highly talented skater. But things were not always that way.

When Wu joined the national team in 2010, he was seen as almost “nothing” compared to gifted skaters like Zhou Yang and Fan Kexin, as his coaches said at the time. Their words made him quite upset. But Wu didn’t want to give up and worked as hard as he could. He practiced skating all year round. He even didn’t return to his hometown for the holidays for 10 years. “I believe in myself,” he told the reporter after his match at the Olympics.

36. At the Pyeong Chang Olympics, Wu Dajing won the gold medal in the men’s short-track race.

A. 500-meter B. 1000-meter C. 1500-meter D. 3000-meter relay

根据文中句子“On Feb 22th, 2018, Wu won the gold medal in the men’s short-track 500-meter race.”

A. Ordinary.平庸的;B. Common.普通的;C. Perfect. 完美的;D. Difficult. BBC said Wu’s win was“flawless”, because he was much faster than all of the other skaters.

根据“Four years ago, Chinese skater Wu Dajing introduced himself to the skating world by winning a silver medal at the Sochi Olympic Winter Games.” A错误;根据“He set a new world record with a time of 39.584 seconds.” When Wu joined the national team in 2010, he was seen as almost“nothing”compared to gifted skaters like Zhou Yang and Fan Kexin, as his coaches said at the time.可知,武大靖在进入国家队时并不被国家队教练看好,C答案错误;根据“Chinese skaters in the women’s 500 meters, 3000-meter relay and men’s 1500 meters all failed to take home the gold.”

But Wu didn’t want to give up and worked as hard as he could. He practiced skating all year round. He even didn’t return to his hometown for the holidays for 10 years.

On April 2, we said goodbye to Tiangong I, China’s first space lab. According to the China Manned Space Agency (中国载人航天), Tiangong I re-entered the Earth’s atmosphere (大气层) and some of its debris (碎片) fell into the South Pacific Ocean. There are many spacecraft (宇宙飞船) that are still in orbit

(轨道) above the Earth. After finishing their trips, they will all re-enter the Earth’s atmosphere like Tiangong I.

There are two types of re-entries: controlled re-entry and uncontrolled re-entry. Some satellites and manned spacecraft come back to the Earth in a controlled re-entry. Experts calculate (计算) the path of the falling spacecraft and its speed. Thy can guide the spacecraft to fall in a chosen area.

Some spacecraft may have problems while in space after a certain amount of time. These spacecraft come back in an uncontrolled re-entry. It is hard to tell when and where these spacecraft will fall until the last few hours. The US space station Skylab came back partially uncontrolled in 1979. Parts of the station fell in western Australia, but no one was hurt.

You must think a computer is the best thing in the world, right? You must think it works at a super speed and can do everything? Well, it’s not! In fact, the brain is much more powerful than any super computer! Think about when a glass is just about to fall off the table. Your brain controls everything that you need to do to save that glass from falling. First your eyes check out what’s going on, then tell your

brain, and your brain decides how quickly you need to react(反应), and then your muscles(肌肉) go into action. That is just from your brain. No computer could ever come close to that!

The brain weighs just 3 pounds, but it controls everything you do from thinking, learning, feeling even to breathing and your heart beating. Even though the brain is just 2% of your body weight, it uses around 20% of all your energy in your body. That is a lot for such a small organ(器官). There are about 100 billion tiny, tiny little cells(细胞) in your brain. There are so many that it would take you over 3,000 years to count them all!

Your brain stops growing when you’re 18, but it actually keeps on developing and learning new things. So your parents are really super smart! You won’t be able to fool them! Believe it or not, your brain NEVER stops working. Even during sleeping, the brain works for long-term memory establishment(建立). It is realized that the brain is the second organ in the body as the heart that never stops during human lives.

So everyone should be proud of such a gift of nature. 16. In Paragraph 1, the writer wants to tell us . A. eyes and muscles react quickly

B. the brain controls everything in your body C. the computer is the best thing in the world D. the brain is more powerful than any computer

17. In Paragraph 2, the underlined word “That” refers to(指的是) . A. the body weight B. 2% of the body weight

C. all energy in the body D. around 20% of the energy in the body 18. Which is RIGHT according to the passage? A. The brain doesn’t work during sleeping B. The brain is the only organ that never stops C. The brain keeps growing during human lives D. The brain keeps on developing during human lives

19. Which word can best describe the brain according to the passage?

A. Magic B. Quick C. Light D. Developing

20. In which magazine can the passage be found most probably? A. Business Weekly B. Medicine C. Science D. Sports 【答案】16. D 17. D 18. D 19. A 20. C

由文章第一段“In fact,the brain is much more powerful than any super computer”可知,作者第一段是想要告诉我们 “事实上,大脑比任何电脑要强大的多” 故答案选D。

Even though the brain is just 2% of your body weight, it uses around 20% of all your energy in your body. That is a lot for such a small organ(器官). 说明That是指上文的around 20% of the energy in the body。故选D。

Believe it or not ??establishment

It is realized that the brain is the second organ in the body as the heart that never stops during human lives. Your brain stops growing when you’re 18. 由第三段第一句后半句but it actually keeps on developing and learning new things.

Magic “不可思议的”;quick“快的”;light“亮的”;developing“发展中的”。

be careful to仔细(注意);因此答案用care的形容词careful。

to attract是动词不定式,因此用how。learning how to attract bees学会如何吸引蜜蜂。

design a bee house for the bees to live. several pieces of bamboo几片竹子。 句子bees prefer living close to the ground是解释了为什么把房子建的靠近地面的原因。所以用because。 35. 故填never。

My father

is so thirsty. 因此用情态动词must,take back clean water取回干净的水。

由for almost half an hour可知,用现在完成时。等某人用wait for sb.
