一、定义:一般现在时表示现在经常反复发生的动作、存在的状态或习惯性的动作的时态。二、构成:一般现在时用行为动词的原形,但第三人称单数作主语时,动词的词尾要加-s 。三、形式:主语+动词原形+宾语

四、用法

表示经常的或习惯性的动作,常与表示频度的时间状语连用。

时间状语: always, usually, every morning/night/evening/day/week, often, sometimes, occasionally, from time to time, twice a week, rarely, seldom, once a month, hardly, ever, never.

表示主语具备的性格、能力、特征和状态。

表示客观事实和普遍真理。

一般现在时表将来:

1)下列动词:come, go, arrive, leave, start, begin, return 的一般现在时表将来。这主要用来表示在时间上已确定或安排好的事情。

2)在时间或条件句中。

When you are learning English, listening, speaking and writing are important, but reading can also be very helpful. When you are reading, you can not only learn some new words, but also learn how to use these English words. When you read, it gives you a good example for writing. Here are the good reading tips.

Try to read at the right level. Read something that you can (more or less) understand. If you need to stop every three words to use a dictionary, it is not interesting.

When Paul was a boy growing up in Utah, he happened to live near a copper smelter(炼铜厂),and the chemicals that poured out had made a wasteland out of what used to be a beautiful forest. Passage 1

The year 2010 is the Expo year which has attracted worldwide attention. As a young volunteer, Alice got her experience by working at a city service station.
