本标准附录A 为规范性附录。

本标准由山东省质量技术监督局提出。

本标准起草单位：山东省标准化研究院、山东省外事办公室外事翻译中心。 本标准主要起草人：

1 范围

本标准规定了山东省道路交通、旅游景区、商业服务业、体育场馆、医疗卫生等公共场所双语标识

英文译法的原则。

本标准适用于山东省公共场所的英文标识翻译。 2 规范性引用文件

下列文件中的条款通过本标准的引用而成为本标准的条款。凡是注日期的引用文件，其随后所有的

修改单（不包括勘误的内容）或修订版均不适用于本标准，然而，鼓励根据本标准达成协议的各方研究

是否可使用这些文件的最新版本。凡是不注日期的引用文件，其最新版本适用于本标准。 GB/T 16159 汉语拼音正词法基本规则 GB 18106 零售业态分类 3 术语和定义

下列术语和定义适用于本标准。 3.1

功能设施 functional facilities

为满足人们在公共场所活动中的需求所提供的基础设施和服务设施，包括具备安全保障、卫生保障、

文化体育以及综合服务和接待等功能的设施。 3.2

地名 place names

人们对各个地理实体赋予的专有名称。 3.3

地名专名 specific names and terms 地名中用来区分各个地理实体的词。 3.4

地名通名 common names and terms 地名中用来区分地理实体类别的词。 3.5

旅游景区景点 tourist attractions

指以旅游及其相关活动为主要功能或主要功能之一的空间或地域。本标准中旅游景区景点是指具有 参观游览、休闲度假、康乐健身等功能, 具备相应旅游服务设施并提供相应旅游服务的独立管理区。该

管理区应有统一的经营管理机构和明确的地域范围。包括风景区、文博院馆、寺庙观堂、旅游度假区、

自然保护区、主题公园、森林公园、地质公园、游乐园、动物园、植物园及工业、农业、经贸、科教、

军事、体育、文化艺术等各类旅游景区景点。 3.6

商业 commerce

主要指商品在流通环节中的批发活动和零售活动。 3.7

服务业 service industry

包括住宿业、餐饮业、美容美发业、洗染业、修理业、典当业、拍卖业、租赁业、摄影业、家政业、

旅馆业的企业和从业人员。 3.8

文化娱乐场所 culture entertainment occupancies

提供休闲和娱乐，使人们更好地享受文化艺术生活的公共场所，包括影剧院、歌剧院、录像厅、音

乐厅、游艺厅、舞厅(多功能卡拉OK 厅)、音乐茶座、酒吧、咖啡厅以及网吧等其他多功能文化娱乐场 所。 3.9

体育场 stadium

指有400 米跑道(中心含足球场)，有固定道牙，跑道6 条以上，并有固定看台的室外田径场

地。 3.10

体育馆 gymnasium/indoor stadium

指具备基础服务，包括运动、健身、娱乐、休闲、比赛以及安全保障等功能的设施。 3.11

医疗卫生 health and medicine

医疗卫生是指以医疗、预防、保健、医疗教育和科研工作为功能，由不同层次的医疗卫生机构组成。 4 一般要求

4.1 公共场所双语标识的英文译法应符合国际通用惯例，遵循英语语言习惯（见附录A）。 4.2 本标准涉及的汉语拼音用法应符合GB/T 16159 的要求。 4.3 独词

独词的英文书写形式依国际惯例全部大写，如出口EXIT。 4.4 方位词

4.4.1 方位词包括：“东、南、西、北、前、后、中、上、内、外”。其对应的英文译法分别为East(E.)， South(S.) ，West(W.) ，North(N.) ，Front，Back，Middle，Upper，Inner，Outer，“东南、西南、东北、西北”其对应的英文译法分别为Southeast，Southwest，Northeast，Northwest。

4.4.2 通常情况下，方位词含有指示方向的意义时应译成英文。

4.4.3 当方位词本身固化为地名的一部分时，方位词采用汉语拼音，如东仓DONGCANG。 4.5 序数词

4.5.1 通常情况下，如需要用序数词表达，其英文写法采用字母上标形式，如1st，2nd，3rd 等，如二环南路2nd Ring South Rd。

4.5.2 名称中的数字不使用英文序数词形式，应直接使用阿拉伯数字表示，如1 号线 LINE 1，2 号窗口Window 2，3 号看台Platform 3。 4.6 冠词和介词

双语标识英文译法中尽量不使用冠词和介词，如孔庙Confucius Temple，但有些约定俗成的说法

和固定用法除外，如栈桥the Jutting Pier。 4.7 标点符号

双语标识英文译法中尽量不用任何标点符号，特殊情况除外。如青岛市少年宫QINGDAO Children’s Palace；作为缩写形式的Ave，St，Rd 和Expwy 后均无“.”。 4.8 警示提示信息

4.8.1 警告性和提示性标志 4.8.1.1 采用国际通行的惯例，一般用祈使句或短语表示，句中或短语中实意单词的首字母大写。如:当心触电 Danger! High Voltage，当心碰头 Mind Your Head，当心踏空 Watch Your Step，紧急时击碎玻璃 Break Glass in Emergency 等。

4.8.1.2 “小心??”，“注意??”，多用Mind 或Watch。如小心台阶 Mind the Step，注意上方 Watch Your Head。当提示意味较强的时候也用Caution。如小心地滑，如果地面建筑材质本身较光滑时译为Caution! Slippery；如果是因为表面上有水等情况时，则译为Caution! Wet Floor。

4.8.1.3 指示入口/出口的方向时用Way in/ Way out，表示入口/出口设施本身时见4.9.2。 4.8.2 说明性标志

一般用短语或祈使句表示，句中或短语中实意单词的首字母大写，介词、冠词小写。如仅供

紧急情况下译为Emergency Use Only，车内发生紧急情况时，请按按钮报警 Press Button in Emergency 等，如句子较长，则仅句首字母大写即可，如 Please close the door behind you。 4.8.3 禁止性标志 “请勿??”，“禁止??”一般都用“Don’t…”, “No…”，或“…Forbidden”，“… Prohibited”，句中或短语中各个单词的首字母都大写。如请勿登踏 Don’t Step On，请勿乱扔废弃物 No Littering,严禁携带易燃易爆等危险品进站 Dangerous Articles Prohibited，禁止摆卖 Vendors Prohibited 等。 4.9 功能设施信息

4.9.1 通常采用英文直接翻译，应符合国际通用惯例，遵循英语语言习惯，英文单词首字母大写，其余小写，介词、冠词小写。

4.9.2 不同“口”的译法，一般“入口”以及“??入口”均译为Entrance，如“剧院入口”译为Entrance即可；而“出口”以及“??出口”均译为Exit，如“剧院出口”译为Exit 即可，“紧急出口”译为Emergency Exit。

4.9.3 楼层，如“1 楼/层、2 楼/层、3 楼/层”等固定缩写为F1、F2、F3；地下1 层、2 层、3 层固定缩写为B1、B2、B3。

4.9.4 电梯译为Elevator/Lift，扶梯译为Escalator，步行楼梯译为Stairs。 4.9.5 前台、服务台、接待一般用 Reception；问询处、咨询台用Information。

4.9.6 厕所、洗手间、卫生间、盥洗室统一译为Toilet，涉及性别时，男厕译为Gents/Men；女厕译为Ladies/Women。

4.9.7 残疾人译为Disabled, 残疾人专用译为Disabled Only 。无障碍设施译为Wheelchair Accessible 表示，如在通道内标识Wheelchair Accessible 表示无障碍通道，在厕所内标识Wheelchair Accessible 表示无障碍厕位。 4.10 特殊情况

已经被社会普遍接受的单位名称，如山东师范大学SHANDONG Normal University 在指地方时可延用此用法，但在指道路名称时，应符合本部分的译法原则，如山师东路SHANSHI East Rd。

5 道路交通译法细则 5.1 地名通名 5.1.1 一般要求

地名通名通常采用英文直接翻译，英文单词首字母大写，其余小写。 5.1.2 街

5.1.2.1 街、大街译为Street（St），如芙蓉街FURONG St，馆驿街GUANYI St，曲水亭街QUSHUITING St。

5.1.2.2 巷一般情况下译为Alley，当路宽达到一定规模时可译为St，如竹竿巷 ZHUGAN Alley，尹家巷YINJIA Alley。 5.1.3 路

5.1.3.1 路、大道译为Road（Rd），如经十路JINGSHI Rd。

5.1.3.2 高速公路译为Expressway（Expwy），如济青高速JIQING Expwy，京福高速JINGFU Expwy。 5.1.4 胡同

胡同的译法形式为Hutong，如平泉胡同PINGQUAN Hutong。 5.1.5 立交桥

立交桥的英文译法译为Bridge，如八一立交BAYI Bridge，燕山立交YANSHAN Bridge。 5.1.6 隧道

隧道译为Tunnel，如开元隧道KAIYUAN Tunnel，魁星楼隧道KUIXINGLOU Tunnel。 5.1.7 其他通名的译法

区、园、坊、村均用汉语拼音，如正觉寺小区ZHENGJUESIXIAOQU，汇景园HUIJINGYUAN，五里牌坊WULIPAIFANG，邮电新村YOUDIANXINCUN。 5.2 地名专名

5.2.1 地名专门通常采用汉语拼音标注，汉语拼音全部大写。

5.2.2 专用名词为路名专名时，专名采用汉语拼音，如趵突泉北路BAOTUQUAN North Rd，但指路标志（或旅游区标志）指向内容为特定场所（而非周边道路）时则采用英文，如趵突泉公园Baotu Spring Park。

5.2.3 公交、BRT 车站、轮渡名称

公交、BRT 车站、轮渡中的地名专名和通名全部采用大写汉语拼音。但场馆、景点、商店等名称作为站名时通常应翻译，如泉城广场the Spring City Square。 5.3 基础设施信息

5.3.1 各类“站”的译法

a) 一般的公共电汽车中途停靠站可译为Stop 或Station； b) 公共电汽车终点站可译为Terminal；

c) 公交枢纽站可译为Public Transport Hub； d) 换乘站可译为Transfer Station 或Transfer； e) 出租汽车调度站可译为Taxi Service； f) 出租汽车上下站可译为Taxi Stop； g) 出租汽车停靠站可译为Taxi。

5.3.2 其他基础设施如：机场、车站、医院、体育场馆等，采用相应的英文词语，如机场Airport，火车站Railway Station，医院Hospital，体育场Stadium 等。 6 旅游景点译法细则 6.1 旅游景点通名

旅游景点通名通常采用英文直接翻译，英文单词首字母大写，其余小写。

6.1.1 植物园译为 Botanical Garden，如济南植物园Jinan Botanical Garden。 6.1.2 博物馆

6.1.2.1 一般名称译为XXXX Museum, Museum 放在最后， 如中国甲午战争博物馆The First Sino-Japanese War Museum。

6.1.2.2 某机构的博物馆译为XXXX Museum of XXXX (机构名)。 6.1.3 纪念馆

6.1.3.1 历史名人的纪念馆译为Memorial，人名不加’s，如孔繁森纪念馆Kong Fansen Memorial。

6.1.3.2 历史事件或事迹的纪念馆译为Memorial Museum，如莱芜战役纪念馆The Memorial Museum of the Laiwu Campaign。

6.1.4 故居译为Former Residence，如蒲松龄故居 Former Residence of Pu Song Ling。 6.1.5 展览馆、陈列馆译为Exhibition Hall/Exhibition Center，会展中心译为Convention & Exhibition Center。

6.1.6 陈列室译为 Exhibition Room/Display Room。

6.1.7 宫、园译为Palace， 如沧园Cang Palace，少年宫Children’s Palace。

6.1.8 殿、堂译为 Hall， 如大成殿Hall of Great Achievement、诗礼堂Hall of Poetry。 6.1.9 寺译为Temple， 如灵岩寺Lingyan Temple。

6.1.10 亭、阁译为Pavilion， 如蓬莱阁Penglai Pavilion，避风亭Bifeng Pavilion。

6.1.11 一般的塔译为Pagoda，如辟支塔Pizhi Pagoda。 6.1.12 牌楼译为Memorial Archway。

6.1.13 高山译为 Mountain， 如泰山Tai Mountain 或Mt.Tai。比较小的山、山丘等译为 Hill, 如千佛山Qianfo Hill。

6.1.14 岛译为 Island， 如长岛Chang Island。 6.1.15 湖译为 Lake, 如大明湖 Daming Lake。

6.1.16 桥译为 Bridge, 如黄河大桥Yellow River Bridge。 6.1.17 器皿译为～ware，如青铜器Bronzeware、玉器Jadeware。 6.1.18 朝代名译为拼音，如汉朝Han Dynasty，但朝代名中包含的方位词应译成英文，如西周Western Zhou Dynasty、西汉Western Han Dynasty。 6.2 专名

6.2.1 专用名词作为旅游区标志，指向内容为特定场所时则采用英文。 6.2.2 采用被社会普遍接受的名称。 6.3 经营类信息

通常采用英文直接翻译，应符合国际通用惯例。如旅游纪念品商店Souvenir Shop，礼品店 Gift Shop。

7 商业服务业译法细则 7.1 企业名称及业态类

业态类的分类参照GB 18106 执行。 7.1.1 购物中心、广场、商场和商店

7.1.1.1 规模巨大，集购物、休闲、娱乐、饮食等于一体，包括百货店、大卖场以及众多专业连锁零售店在内的超级商业中心译为Mall，如购物中心或大型商场都译为Shopping Mall。 7.1.1.2 中等规模的购物中心译为Shopping Center，如市区购物中心Urban Shopping Center。

7.1.1.3 只针对货品进行分类销售、不具有休闲娱乐等多种功能的较小规模的商店、店铺译为Store或Shop，如百货公司 Department Store，精品店 Fancy Shop。 7.1.1.4 商业性写字楼群或购物中心译为Plaza，如海信广场Hisense Plaza；而一般在城市中用作花园或休闲场所，周围被街道和建筑物环绕的四方形开放区域则译为Square，如泉城广场QUANCHENG Square。某大型超市或商场的分店，一般译为Branch 表示。 7.1.2 酒家、酒楼、酒店

酒家、酒楼、酒店等提供餐饮服务，性质就是饭店、餐馆的地方，全部翻译为Restaurant；而专门供人喝酒、小憩的“酒馆”则译为Wineshop。 7.1.3 文化娱乐场所

剧院通常译为Theater，书店通常译为Book Store，图书馆通常译为Library，文化馆通常译为Cultural Center，音像店通常译为Audio-Video Shop，网吧通常译为Internet Café，其他娱乐场所可统一翻译为Entertainment Place/Entertainment Area。

7.1.3.1 在剧场中，一般情况下表示功能的区域译为Area，如贵宾区 VIP Area；特殊情况如表示座位的区域译为Seat，如东台单号区 East Platform Odd Number Seats。 7.1.3.2 已经被社会普遍接受的单位名称，继续延用，如同仁堂药店 Tongrentang Pharmacy。

7.1.4 经营服务信息

通常采用英文直接翻译，应符合国际通用惯例，如特卖场Special Sales；电话号码簿、信息查询，Yellow Pages。 7.1.5 商品名称

7.1.5.1 服装

7.1.5.1.1 作为衣服的总称，包含衣裤、鞋帽、手套等，一般译为Clothing 或Clothes，如夏装 Summer Clothing、成衣 Ready-Made Clothes。 7.1.5.1.2 流行、时尚服饰译为Fashion。

7.1.5.1.3 妇女、儿童服装或特殊场合穿的礼服译为Dress，如民族服装 Ethnic Dress、晚礼服Evening Dress、夏季连衣裙 Summer Dress。

7.1.5.1.4 套装（男人穿的上衣、背心和裤子，或女人穿的上衣和裙子）译为Suit，如男式西装 Men’s Suit。

7.1.5.1.5 男士服装译为Men’s Wear； 女士服装译为Women’s Wear。 7.1.5.2 书籍

通常分为文学类Literature、艺术类Arts、学术类Academic Books、工商类Business Administration、科学类Science、实用类Practical Books、教育类Education、工程类

Engineering、电脑类Computer、实业类Industry、其他Miscellaneous 等11 大类图书销售区。

7.1.5.3 其他商品

一般的，其他商品的分类直接采用其对应的英文直接翻译。 7.1.6 服务人员名称

服务人员用在不同的行业和场合，采取不同的英文译法。如在餐饮业中，男性服务员用Waiter、

女性服务员用Waitress 表示；在商店里服务员用Assistant/Clerk 表示；如店员 Shop

Assistant、 Sales Clerk，火车上的服务人员用Attendant 表示；轮船、飞机上的服务人员用Steward/Stewardess（女性）表示。 7.1.7 部门名称

在商业服务业企业中， 部门一般翻译成Department ， 如人力资源部 Human Resources Department、财务部 Financial Department。 8 体育场馆部分细则 8.1 功能设施信息

体育功能设施涉及许多专门的体育和电视转播专业词汇按国际通用表示方法翻译。如在济南奥体中心体育场馆中，主体育场译为Main Stadium、主新闻中心译为Main Press Center、运营区/场馆工作区译为BOH（Back of House）、通行区/场馆公众区译为FOH (Front of House)。 8.2 运动项目信息

遵循国际惯例采用英文直接翻译。如竞技体操和艺术体操的译法特别容易混淆，应译为竞技体操Artistic Gymnastics、艺术体操 Rhythmic Gymnastics。 8.3 体育场馆信息

8.3.1 体育场馆名称中的中文地名或单位专名用汉语拼音表示，符合GB/T 16159 的要求。 8.3.2 体育场的英文译法为Stadium,如济南奥体中心体育场Jinan Olympic Sports Center Stadium。

8.3.3 体育馆的英文译法为Gymnasium 或Indoor Stadium，如弘诚体育馆Hongcheng Gymnasium、山东省体育馆Shandong Provincial Indoor Stadium。

8.3.4 大学校园内的体育馆多用Gymnasium，其译法主要按照：“大学名称＋体育馆”的格式搭配，如山东大学体育馆 Shandong University Gymnasium、山东科技大学体育馆 Shandong Science and Technology University Gymnasium。

8.3.5 游泳馆的英文译法为Natatorium 或Swimming Pool，如皇亭游泳馆Huangting

Natatorium、山东体育中心游泳馆 Shandong Provincial Sport Center Swimming Pool。

9 医疗卫生部分细则

9.1 国际通用功能设施采用相应的英文词语，如医院 Hospital、疾病预防控制中心 Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC)、诊室 Consulting Room、血液中心 Blood Center、卫生监督所Health Inspection Institute。

9.2 医疗卫生标志上的地名通常采用汉语拼音标注，汉语拼音用法应符合GB/T 16159 的要求，如齐鲁医院 Qilu Hospital；已经被社会普遍接受的单位名称，如紫荆花医院 Bauhinia Hospital，可延续此用法。 9.3 诊室、科室的译法：

医院的门诊部、专科医院或医院的诊室和科室译为Clinic，如糖尿病科 Diabetic Clinic，专家门诊Specialist Clinic,住院部的科或表示区域时用Dept.，如外科 Surgery Dept.。 9.4 病房统一译为Ward，如烧伤病房 Burn Ward。

9.5 一般的，医疗卫生专用功能性的室或房间译为Room，如牙片室 Dental Film Room、起博室 Cardiac Pacemaker Room、敷料间 Dressing Room、手术室 Operating Room。

9.6 进行化验分析的实验室译为Laboraory/Lab，如外科实验室 Surgery Lab、预检筛查室 Pretest & Screening Lab、临床检验室 Clinical Lab、细胞室 Cell Lab。 9.7 医疗功能设施涉及许多专业词汇按国际通用表示方法翻译，如重症监护室ICU（Intensive Care Unit）。 附 录 A
