When you turn over the Chinese long history , you’re sure to be

absorbed in the amusing fact that the people from the Tang dynasty accepted the Christmas with pleasure and even many emperors took the lead to celebrate it .

So I think we and those people from the Tang dynasty are on the same position that the outstanding nation should show our sincerity to contain other cultures .It’s not sensible to reject Western festivals . Under the background of globalization , the cultural boundaries could be disappeared little by little . The more you share with people of other countries , the more we touch in heart with each other. While we are lighting out the Charismas Tree all over the continental in Charismas Day , the other part of the Pacific Ocean has organized the China Spring Festival for many time . Many of the Americans put on the Tang suit , hold the traditional Chinese red lanterns, Chinese knot hanging around the street . Actually, those people of insight from the western countries will give a plum in return for a peach that acquire a taste for the Chinese Festival and its culture.

For me, those western festival could more be treated as a relaxing day like weekend. We usually celebrate it as a chance to join together with friends . We may have a good meal , camp in the mountain, or just share with joy like April FOOl’S day. Well, you also can see that

lovers exchange gifts, friends participate in activities, and families will travel .It seems that most people celebrating the western festival to be their own “holidays”.

There is no fault that we celebrate western festivals, but on the other hand, to facing with “tsunami” of those western festivals, shall we preserve our traditional festivals with more stories and mascots . The Charismas Day spreads its value with Father Charismas and the story about the Santa Claus's reindeer crossing the chimney . May we should enrich our Spring Festival with Dragon and the story about Chinese zodiac .

Based on the Changes happened in the western festivals spreading around world , we should also do something like that combine the observing ways of our traditional festivals with lifestyle for Youngman to refresh the traditional festivals .
