八年级宾语从句用法小结及配套练习

宾语从句用法小结一、宾语从句由关联词引出。我们根据引导宾语从句的连词不同，可把宾语从句分为三类：

以从属连词that引导的宾语从句。I hear that you have passed the examination. Good luck!

以从属连词if 和whether引导的宾语从句。I don't know if you can come tomorrow.

以连接代词或连接副词引导的宾语从句。 Please tell me how you can get here.

二、宾语从句三要素：一连词, 二语序, 三时态。

1) 从句为陈述句时用that连接(常省略), 从句语序不变; 主句为一般现在时,从句可为任何时态。 I think (that) she is a clever girl.

We all know (that) they reached Shanghai yesterday.

Do you know (that) there is going to be a football match tonight?

2) 从句为特殊疑问句时连接词用特殊疑问词引导,从句改为陈述句语序; 主句为一般现在时,从句可为任何时态。 Do you know who she is?

Please tell me how long I can keep this book. Nobody knows when he came back. 3) 从句为一般疑问句时，连接词用whether 或 if, 从句改为陈述句语序; 主句为一般现在时,从句可为任何时态。 Can you tell me whether/if you can mend the bike? I don't know whether/if they lived in Paris last year. I want to know whether/if she will lend you the money. I don't know whether/if he'll come the day after tomorrow. 4) 宾语从句的主句为过去时态, 从句用相应的过去时态, 但从句为客观事实或真理时, 从句只能用一般现在时。 I saw (that) they were swimming in the river. He said (that) he would get here on time.

The teacher told me (that) the earth is bigger than the moon.

【注】①不可省略that的宾语从句

当主句谓语动词带有两个或两个以上宾语从句时，可以省略第一个that，其它不能省略。

I believe（that）you have done your best and that things will get better.

当it作形式宾语时。

She made it clear that she had nothing to do with him． 当宾语从句前置时。

That our team will win，I believe． ②只能用whether的宾语从句

1. 在具有选择意义,又有or 或or not 时，尤其是直接与or not 连用时,往往用whether(if ...or not 也可以使用)。 Let me know whether / if he will come or not. = Let me know whether or not he will come.

I don't know whether / if he does any washing or not. = I don't know whether or not he does any washing. 2. 在介词之后用whether。

I'm interested in whether he likes English.

We're thinking about whether we can finish the work on time. 3. 在不定式前用whether。

He hasn't decided whether to visit the old man. He hasn't decided whether to go by bus or by train. 4. whether 置于句首时，不能换用if。 Whether this is true or not , I can't say.

③宾语从句的否定转移

主句谓语动词是think, believe, suppose, guess, imagine, expect等，主句的主语是第一人称且为一般现在时，从句的否定词一般要转移到主句上来。其反意疑问句一般与宾语从句一致。

I don't believe they have finished their work yet, have they? 如果宾语从句中有某个含有否定意义的副词或形容词，如：hardly, never, seldom, no, few, little等，其反意疑问句要用肯定形式。
