Generation and evaluation of alternative solutions
Establishing a dairy farm in the middle of the desert is not that easy. The problems that this company faced are complex. We can easily make the conclusion through external and internal analysis that the majority of the reasons are relayed on geology, history and even some politics aspect. Despite the limitation of company’s capacity, some improvement under the overall of company’s mission and vision is achievable.
Transportation revolution successfully completed with Almarai includes:

Describe:
The KSA weather, although varied, can be summed up as deserted, dry, and hot, which means there’s a big problems in delivering in which to keep goods fresh.
Considering the short shelf life of the packaged product and temperature control, the logistic and supply chain is a facing big challenge while the road conditions are a major obstacle which is serious but can be improved over those external influencing factor.

entrance section. Speed up the information flow between departments and the degree of information exchange. Even can set up an independent agency or department to coordinate the cooperation between departments and supervise the work to implement relative actions, ensuring efficiency and accelerating the velocity of the supply chain. In accelerating the flow of supply chain solutions, we not only can adopt the way of internal integration, as transporters, technology reform and upgrading of hardware configuration is also one of the ways to remedy. In addition, considering the traffic conditions, fleet of driver’s team are high-qualify and under huge pressure. So company should be responsible to training the drivers and pay for insurance. Almarai can upgrade the level of configurations involved in various aspects,
including production, transportation, preservation, transportation vehicle, sending and receiving system and other relative link. Upgrade technology configuration directly
speed up the velocity of supply chain, reduce transportation pressure, smooth the logistics process.

Solution 4:
Pieces, break up the whole into parts; set up courier station, cut the length of each relative supply chain
Describe:
In long-distance transportation mode, On the premise of can't shorten the transport time,Almarai can break up the whole into parts by setting up courier station, cut the length of each relative supply chain.
Each long distance transport line could set at most 3 to 4 courier station that divide the whole line into some short circuit. Each station is equipped with perfect
preservation facilities to ensure dairy fresh and also can be a place for long-distance drivers’ succession
