From “Basketball Girl” to Chinese Paralympic（残奥会）swimmer, 20-year-old disabled girl, Qian Hongyan, comes from a poor family in Luliang county（县）, southwestern China’s Yunnan Province.

I have been teaching English in Japan for almost five months.

Usually to teach in Japan, your first language needs to be English. And you need a working visa（签证）in order to work and make money in Japan. I have a bicycle so I can get from school to school easily. I usually work about 25~28 hours a week. Wages（工资）are good enough for me to live a comfortable life in Japan. However, my motivation（动机）for coming here was not about money, but the experience of teaching and also throwing myself into another culture. I believe that you should never do a job because of money. I mainly work for a language school and most students there are adults. My earliest lesson of the day begins at 11:00 a.m., which is always my adults’ lesson. Many of my adults’ lessons are free talk classes, we often talk about our week, news, hobbies and interests.
