What’s the matter with me that I cannot learn English good for learning so many years ? Almost every poor English learner has thought about this question. According to the people who cannot communicate in English, they just don’t know how to learn a authentic foreign language and they are wondering what kind of environment is good for people to learn. Comparing the deferences in learning English between in China and in an English speaking country, the advantages in environment, method, and intensity can show the best way to learn English is to study in an English speaking country. (103)

The first and main, deferences between learning in China and in an English speaking country is the advantageous environment. In China, students learn English in a rigid way. They could only practice their oral English only in class in limit time, and remember knowledge in notebooks rather than in their minds actually, because they often don’t know how to use it. In an English speaking country, students learn English in a more flexible way. They could practice their oral English everywhere, no matter in the school, the supermarket or even in the street. And remember knowledge in their minds directly rather than in notebooks only, because they can use it in their daily life and this could help them to keep in mind. Students have to know when they want to learn English, choosing a advantageous environment could be the prerequisite. (143)

Deferences in method between learning in China and in an English speaking country leads to the second contrast. In China, students learn English only during their school life, but only a few of people could learn authentic English. They are forced to remember many new words but don’t know how to use it. This means the Chinese students cannot find the correct method to learn , especially learning from the Chinese teacher. In an English speaking country, students learn English during the whole day, and what they get is the authentic English from the local. They could learn the new words from the daily life and use it flexible. This means the Chinese students can find the correct method by following the English speakers and a more easier way to learn. The students who want to find a better way to learn English should know that a

correct method can help people to learn English more efficiency. (158)

The failure of Chinese students in their English learning between china and other English speaking countries can also take on the aspect of the intensity in study. In China, students learn English only in class in a short time and forget much of it as soon as the class is over. They can not get the chance to repeat after class, and this is not beneficial to them to remember the knowledge. It is the challenge for people who want to learn English better. In an English speaking countries, students could learn English not just in class but in all their studying life, and remember a large number of knowledge by repeating in daily using. They can have many chances to repeat it again and again after class, and this is good for them to enforce the memory. Finally, when students want to use English freely, learning in an English speaking country can be a good way ever. (158)

Students who want to learn English better should keep an eye on the superior environment, the correct method, and proper intensity. These aspects are beneficial to the learner. By comparing these we can know that learning English in an English speaking country can be a good idea. (47)
