Abstract：According to the school rules and the theory of core competence of higher vocational colleges， the elements of core competitiveness research in higher vocational colleges， using AHP to construct the evaluation index system of the core competitiveness of higher vocational colleges， higher vocational colleges aims to help the analysis of competitive advantages and disadvantages， in order to enhance the core competitiveness.

Key words：Higher vocational colleges Core competence Evaluation index system Structure 随着我国经济的发展，高等职业教育在高等教育规模中已占半壁江山。与此同时，高职院校之间的竞争日益激烈，其竞争的实质是核心竞争力的竞争，在这场竞争中，国家级、省级示范高职院校处于优势，非示范性高职院校处于劣势，非示范性高职院校要持续发展，必须提升其核心竞争力。

1 高职院校核心竞争力的界定

目前，高职院校核心竞争力没有统一的定义，经过研究，我们赞同以下观点：高职院校的核心竞争力是指在高职院校内部整合了的知识和技能， 是在办学过程中形成的不易被同类院校简单仿效的，能给学生及家长、用人单位和社会带来价值， 创造双赢乃至多赢的独特的能力。[1]

2 高职院校的核心竞争力的构成要素

根据核心竞争力特性，高职院校核心竞争力构成要素有三方面： 2.1人才培养能力和社会服务能力
