H：ladies and gentleman ,welcome to our English corner .it’s my great honour to be one of the hosts tonight. My name is HuJiarong . and standing here beside me is my partner ,WangPanpan.

W: thank you ,HuJiarong . good evening , ladies an gentleman. I’m honoured to be co-host English corner tonight. This is the first time I’ve been a host since we come to ****university.

H: I hope all of you will have a nice time here. Now ,let’s warmly welcome our foreign friend Greg,welcome!

W: Tonight our topic is “Future”. And to start with , we would like to briefly introduce the whole progress of today’s activities. The first part of the activity is our English Speech.

(英语演讲、5个人、控制在20min)

H: good! The speeches that they made were wonderful! Now ,I have a question for you, “what are you going to do after your graduation?” (准备几个人发言，以防冷场！

调节气氛：1.who wants to have a try ? Anyone ?

2. oh ,come on ,don’t be shy. Maybe you can ask yourself in

your mind firstly ,and then talk to others.

3.that beautiful girl/ handsome boy ,I see you , your eyes tell me you have something to talk , why not? 4.again, who wants to have a try ?

5. oh , come on, don’t be shy . it’s a good chance to challenge yourself . we come here for what? Of course, open our mouth and practice our English spoken skills.)

H：ok ,the next time is to sing English songs, the song’s name is “just when last dance”, now ,let’s give *** a big applause.

(唱英文歌，控制在5min)

W: next ,the other part is playing games. And the game’s name is English riddle. And anyone who guest successful can get a small prize .(拿出棒棒糖)

H: the first one is “what day of the week is the best for having friend foods? (Friday)

W: next, “what kind of dog has no tail?”( hot dog)

H: “when can you run as fast as a horse?” (when you are riding on horseback )

W: what keys won’t open doors? (monkey or turkey) H: why do birds fly south for winter? (it’s too far to walk)

W: twelve girls were standing under a large umbrella . why didn’t any of

them get wet?(it wasn’t raining)

H: what goes up but never comes down? (your age )

W: I get dirty when your face and hands become clean .what am I? (towel )

H: why is “smiles” the longest English word? (because there is one mile between S and S )

W: I began with T and end with T , and I am full of T. what am I ?(teapot) H: what is there between sea and sky? (and )

H: what a lovely game it is .well ,the English corner tonight will come to the end . I’m certain that we have got a nice time here. And I hope all of you have learned something from this activity .
