1.掌握本课的重要词汇短语及句子：

No, they won’t .Everything will be free.

Yes,I hope so.

Kids will study at home on weekends. They won’t go to school. There will be more people. There will be more pollution.

There will be fewer trees. There will be less free time.

能力目标：

初步认识will表示一般将来时的用法和there be 句型表示一般将来时的用法。 复习可数名词和不可数名词并能正确使用more, fewer和 less。

教学过程：

Step1 Revision

Revise the contents learnt last period and have a dictation.

Step 2 New words

Learn the new words and expressions:

Environment, planet, earth, plant, part, play a part, peace, sea, sky Step 3 Grammar Focus

Sudents read the sentences in Grammar Focus and try to recite them.

Make sentences with “will”structure.

Countable nouns and uncountable nouns.

Step 4 3a

Fill in the blanks with more , less or fewer. Check the answers:1.less, more 2.more, more3.fewer, more 4.more, more,5.less, more/fewer Explain: less fresh water, the same jobs as people

Step5 3b Complete the predictions with what you think will happen.

Like: Kids study at school now. In 100 years, they will study at home on computer. Talk about their predictions.

Step 6 3c Drawing

Draw a picture of what you think a city in the future will be like.Then Describe it to the class.
